This week SDG sponsored the Qlik World Tour Event in NYC, with the event centered around the theme of Active Intelligence.
Active Intelligence is a new paradigm, creating "in-the-moment" awareness about every aspect of your business. It delivers a state of continuous Intelligence from real-time, up-to-date information designed to trigger immediate actions.
Qlik's keynote speakers discussed the shifting economic and market conditions the world is facing today. These speaker sessions illustrated what technology leaders must look for as they move forward in their Data & Analytics journeys. Qlik speakers went over recently added and planned features of the Qlik Platform's Data Integration and Analytics capabilities like AI/ML functionality, automation, direct query enhancements (e.g., for Snowflake), Forts, and added security and compliance capabilities.
Customers presented their Qlik solutions and discussed how they would expand the platform in several business use cases. A session on how Qlik Data Integration (QDI) is used in SAP environments was particularly interesting to some attendees.

It was a successful event with close to 200 attendees and presentations from multiple Qlik users and SDG clients, giving first-hand accounts and experiences using Qlik's platform.TheSDG Client, Urban Outfitters, presented how the application enabled them to identify changed buyer habits in the market during their busiest season (back to school) and how the recent pandemic impacted it.
